  • Graduate teaching (e.g., assessment/interventions for diverse client groups; substance abuse/addictions)
  • Supervision of doctoral students in clinical practicum settings
  • Serving on graduate student supervisory committees and mentoring student research

Candidates for this position should have an earned doctorate from an APA-accredited program with a PhD in counseling psychology. ABDs may be considered if the PhD will be earned by the starting date. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to research/scholarship, teaching, supervision, program development, the integration of science and practice, and serving as a professional role model. Current licensure as a psychologist or license-eligibility as a psychologist in Florida is required. Candidates knowledgeable about counseling psychology, APA-accreditation operating procedures, and familiar with national training issues in professional psychology are encouraged to apply.

Other Information:

This is a nine-month, tenure earning position at the assistant professor rank, with possible summer employment. There is the opportunity in the future for assuming a leadership role in the program, one of only three APA-accredited combined counseling psychology and school psychology doctoral programs in the country.
