The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 1, 2019.
We seek a research-focused colleague in clinical psychology whose program of research uses integrative approaches to address problems related to mental and/or physical health and complements existing research in the department (e.g., adult/child psychopathology, cognitive/affective neuroscience, gerontology, health psychology/psychoneuroimmunology). We are particularly interested in candidates whose research incorporates effective science, broadly conceived. Expertise in advanced statistical approaches is also desirable. Candidates whose research includes dimensions of culture or diversity, and those who have a commitment to working with and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will have received their PhD from an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program by July 1, 2019, will maintain an excellent record of research productivity and demonstrate potential for securing extramural funding, and will have a commitment to teaching and mentorship at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
