Assistant Professor Faculty Position within the Division of Women’s Mental Health
McLean Hospital, the Division of Women’s Mental Health, and the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School invite applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level from qualified individuals with clinical/translational research interests relevant to pain, and novel transdiagnostic behavioral approaches relevant to depression and anxiety disorders, especially in women and girls. Investigators engaged exclusively in animal models of psychiatric disorders will not be considered. Opportunities exist for developing strong collaborations within McLean Hospital and across Harvard Medical School.
· Ph.D. or professional doctorate, appropriate postdoctoral experience
· Record of extramural funding and publications indicative of demonstrated expertise
· Psychology licensure eligible as a “health service provider” psychologist in Massachusetts
· Applicants must meet the academic criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School
The position offers office and human laboratory space, affiliation with a large clinical and basic neuroscience research program, and research infrastructure support. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a competitive, independent, and largely externally funded research program.
