Assistant Professor, Counseling/Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychological Sciences at Loyola University New Orleans invites applications for an assistant appointment beginning in August 2019. PhD required although ABDs will also be considered. This is a tenure-track position. The ideal candidate will have an expertise in counseling/counselor education or clinical psychology with a developmental focus. The individual will teach three courses per semester, potentially online and which may include developmental psychology, counseling or clinical psychology, child psychology, psychology of aging, and adolescent psychology. Additional courses in the candidate’s specific field of expertise are possible. Loyola University New Orleans is a Jesuit institution located in an urban setting. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in on-campus/online teaching and scholarship as well as an interest in undergraduate mentoring.
