The Psychology Department at Missouri State
applications for a tenure-track position in psychology at the Assistant
Professor level beginning in the Fall of 2019. Application review will begin on October
15th, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Candidates must have a Doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
or related field. ABD will be considered
with an expected completion by start date.
The primary teaching responsibilities will be courses in the
undergraduate curriculum, graduate courses in selection and performance
management, and supervision of graduate student theses and internships. In addition, there will be opportunities to
contribute to the department's undergraduate online program and teach courses
within the applicant's area of expertise.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to mentoring undergraduate and graduate student research and to the development of programmatic research in expertise area. Service is expected at university, college and departmental levels, and participation is expected in activities that contribute to the public affairs mission of the university.
