Assistant or Associate Professor

Assistant/Associate Professor of Risk and Resilience among Vulnerable Families, Adults, and Youth. Human Development and Family Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Full-time, nine month, benefits-eligible, tenure-track, Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will have expertise in risk and resilience among vulnerable families, adults, and youth and how these may relate to food insecurity and health. Areas of expertise may include health disparities and access to food; child and youth health outcomes related to food insecurity; food insecurity and immigration; intersections of gender-race-family economic status and food insecurity; family coping strategies and food insecurity; and evidence-based, culturally-sensitive family community-focused interventions and policies regarding food insecurity. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Position begins August 16th, 2020. Applications received by December 2, 2019 will receive priority.
