2 Full-Time Positions for Clinical Psychologists in the Division of Gastroenterology, Boston Children's Hospital
The Division of Gastroenterology at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking two full-time pediatric psychologists. The first position will entail providing outpatient treatment for children younger than 6 who have been diagnosed with malnutrition and feeding disorders in The Growth and Nutrition Program. The successful candidate will have experience in both behavioral therapy with young children and their families and expertise in evidence-based anxiety treatment. Training or clinical background in treating feeding disorders, parent training, and working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders are all highly desired. The second position will entail providing outpatient services to children and adolescents seen in a multidisciplinary Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) program and to those diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal illnesses. Specific training in family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy and skills in treating pediatric chronic pain is preferred.
Applicants must possess or be eligible for a Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology prior to assuming the position. Academic appointments at Harvard Medical School will likely be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Graduates of APA/CPA-accredited doctoral programs and internships are required.
