How do I delete my account?

Please contact us to delete your account. We will remove your information from our website.

Where do I go to buy a job?

Simply click the "Post a Job" button at the top right of the navigation menu, or click here to visit the pricing page and add a package to your cart.

NOTE: To view items in your cart, click the shopping cart icon, which is also located at the top right of the navigation menu.

What type of payments do you accept?

APA psycCareers currently accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

I can’t find my receipt, HELP!

A receipt will be emailed to the email address associated with the employer account. It will also be listed in your "Billing History," which can be found by hovering over "My Account" at the top left of the navigation menu. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder in your email as well, sometimes they get lost!

How do I edit/change my contact information and/or password?

Log in with your current email address and password. Hover over "My Account" at the top left of the navigation menu, and click "Edit Profile."

How do I edit/change my privacy settings?

Log in with your current email address and password. Hover over "My Account" at the top left of the navigation menu, and click "Edit Profile."

 

Job Posting / Editing / Deleting

Is there a fee to post a job?

Yes. Jobs must be purchased before they can be posted. You can find a list of the job offerings, here.

How do I post a job?

You can post a job by clicking the "Post a Job" button in the top right of the navigation menu. If you do not have any credits you will need to purchase credits. If you do, you can use those credits to post a job.

Once you have selected the credits you would like to use, you will be brought to a form where you can enter data.

Apply Methods: You can select one of three ways for job seekers to apply:

    1. Use your account on APA psycCareers to manage your applications
    2. Applicants and their resumes, and cover letters emailed to a specific address
    3. Enter a URL where job seekers will be redirected

NOTE: Applications of job seekers who apply by email are stored in your account. We cannot store the candidate’s information if we redirect them away from the job board, as they have just clicked through from our site to yours.

I've posted my job, but I can't find it in the job search results! HELP!

It can take up to 2 business days for your newly posted job to appear in the search results on APA psycCareers.

NOTE: All jobs must be approved prior to going live on the site. Assuming you post your job within regular business hours, you can typically expect for them to be live within an hour or two. If, for instance, you post a job on Friday at 4:30pm (EST), it won't be live until Monday morning. 

Where can I view a list of jobs that I have posted?

You can manage jobs you have posted by clicking the link "Manage Jobs" on your dashboard or in the menu bar. Please notice the drop down that defaults to Active. You can organize your postings by Active, Incomplete, Expired and Pending.

NOTE: Only active jobs are returned in your job list. If you would like to view your expired or suspended jobs, you must first click that option in the available filter.

Can I edit a job I've posted? 

Access your job list by clicking "Manage Jobs" on your dashboard or in the menu bar. Select "Edit" from the list of action dropdowns to make the desired changes.

NOTE: It can take up to 10 minutes for your changes to appear on that job when viewed in the search results.

My job has been filled. How can I delete it?

Jobs cannot be deleted. To remove a job from the active list, select "Suspend" from the action's dropdown on the Manage Jobs page.

 

Resume Database

Is there a fee associated with the resume database?

Currently, all job posting packages include access to the resume database for the duration of your job listing.  

How do I search the resume database?

To search resumes, log into your account and click "Resumes" in the navigation menu.

NOTE: In order to view resumes, you will need to purchase a job posting package. We will be actively rebuilding our database of job seeker resumes over the coming months. Please stay patient as we work to give you the strongest pool of psychology professionals yet!

How can I set up resume alerts?

Log into your account and on the dashboard click “Resumes by email." Click the option to add a new alert. You can set up a variety of alerts, so be sure to name each one with a title that makes sense to you. You may unsubscribe from this service at any time by clicking the "Delete" option listed to the right of each alert.
